About

Gabriel Lacroix

Founder, Kaizen DSP

Gabriel Lacroix is the founder of Kaizen DSP and creator of Choroboros. He founded the Vancouver band Green Alderson in 2019, writing and producing its releases—including Tripping Daisy, which reached over 140,000 streams—and playing venues like Fox Cabaret and Foodstock. He studied at Nimbus School of Recording & Media under Dave Genn (54-40) and producer Garth Richardson, and has worked in studio with artists such as Boslen and Khassé across Vancouver's music community.

In 2022 he began developing plugins; Choroboros is his first commercial release. He builds tools that prioritize creative flow over technical friction—reflecting both engineering precision and the sensibility of someone who has written, performed, and produced music. He now lives in Terrace, British Columbia.
